Today we delve into the background of the Russian “Experiments in the Revival of Organisms” 1940 film. The Revival of Organisms Experiments took were conducted by Sergei Brukhonenko and Boris Levinskovsky a Soviet funded research team into the resuscitation of clinically dead organisms. The experiments made use of a machine called the autojektor, an early heart-lung machine.
